HEVC (H.265)

HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding), also known as H.265, is a video compression standard developed by ITU and ISO that doubles the compression performance of the previous standard, H.264/AVC. HEVC delivers the same level of picture quality as H.264, but has better compression, making it ideal for viewing Ultra HD broadcasts, 4k Blu-rays, and more.
